Glimpse of Research Findings

Assessing the livability in the residential areas of IT parks: A case area of Hyderabad
IT residential areas function much differently than the rest of the parts of a city. Against the myth of IT neighborhoods being the top livable spots of the city, my research found that they suffer from problems of housing segregation, income disparities, traffic congestion, and safety issues. As a solution, I propose using a 500 x 500 meter grid to take advantage of the real estate, while also balancing it with mixed land uses to promote livability. To read more

Economic Revitalization of Cultural Regions: A Case Study of Telangana State
The research introduces a groundbreaking cultural functional hierarchy that strategically integrates heritage preservation with economic growth. This hierarchy categorizes cultural assets—ranging from iconic heritage sites to local festivals and artisanal clusters—based on their economic potential and socio-cultural significance, enabling targeted policy interventions. By identifying primary cultural hubs, secondary nodes, and local-level clusters, the model ensures a balanced distribution of tourism and economic activities, preventing over-concentration in major urban centers while fostering rural development. The study emphasizes that leveraging these cultural assets through tiered investment strategies, public-private partnerships, and community-driven initiatives can create sustainable livelihoods, strengthen regional identity, and position Telangana as a model for culturally inclusive economic planning..
